If you’ve been arrested for a DUI, the officer will provide you what’s called a hearing request form. That needs to be sent off to Department of Licensing within 20 days of the date of your arrest with $375. If you do nothing, 60 days from the date of your arrest, the licensing consequences that they sought to take against you will go into effect.
You will not be allowed a chance to contest whether you refused or whether you submitted to the breath test. It’s very important when you get your paperwork, you read it, get it into an attorney, or get it mailed off with the $375 to Department of Licensing.
